Estimated total damage of about 50 billion VND due to floods and tornadoes

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, from November 15 to 18, 2025, the whole province had 42 houses collapsed, had their roofs blown off, or were damaged by tornadoes. Of these, 5 houses collapsed in Nguyen Nghiem commune; 37 houses had their roofs blown off or damaged; 29 houses had their outbuildings damaged.

Localities have organized emergency evacuation of 93 households, with 346 people in areas at risk of landslides on hills and mountains. Of which, Son Tay Thuong commune evacuated 44 households, with 185 people; Ba Vi commune evacuated 48 households, with 159 people; Kon Plong commune evacuated 1 household, with 2 people. Total damage is estimated at about 50 billion VND.
