The patient, born in 1963 and residing in Le Ninh commune, Quang Tri province, was brought to the hospital by his family with pain in the epigastric region. At that time, the patient was still conscious. However, when the doctor was about to examine him, the patient suddenly fell to the floor, his whole body turned purple, and he was in critical condition.

According to initial assessment, the patient was suspected of having an acute myocardial infarction leading to circulatory and respiratory arrest. Doctors and nurses activated emergency procedures.

After 30 minutes of effort, the patient's heart started beating again, pulse was clear, and blood pressure improved. On the same day, the patient was urgently transferred to the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi for continued intensive resuscitation and intensive cardiovascular intervention.
