The National Assembly approved the early approval of special policies for the private economy.

On the morning of May 15, with 429/429 delegates present in agreement, the National Assembly approved the adjustment of the program of the 9th Session.

Previously, presenting the report, Secretary General of the National Assembly Le Quang Tung said that the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed adjusting the time for the National Assembly to listen to the presentation of the report, the verification report, discuss and vote to approve before May 18 with 2 draft resolutions.

Including: Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies, creating breakthroughs in law making and enforcement; Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies for private economic development.

"This is to promptly institutionalize Resolution No. 66 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, ensuring that the resolutions passed by the National Assembly are thoroughly understood and implemented immediately at the National Conference on the dissemination and implementation of Resolution No. 66 and Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on the morning of May 18," Mr. Le Quang Tung stated.

According to the adjusted program, on the afternoon of May 15, the National Assembly will listen to the presentation, the verification report and discuss in groups both of the above draft resolutions. On the morning of May 16, both drafts will be discussed in the hall, then the approval button will be pressed late in the morning of May 17.

Previously, according to the agenda approved by the National Assembly, on the morning of June 12 (second session of the session), the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on mechanisms and policies for private economic development was submitted to the National Assembly. On the afternoon of June 28 (last day of the session), the National Assembly voted to approve this content.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee added the content for the Government to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision, including: supplementing the State budget for regular expenditure (foreign non-refundable aid capital) in 2025; the transition to applying a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been permitted by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the policies of the Party and State.

The two contents are arranged for discussion together with the contents on socio-economics, State budget and resolutions on these contents in the Resolution of the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly.

Another content added is the adjustment of the investment policy for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1.

The Secretary General of the National Assembly also said that the National Assembly will arrange a separate meeting (at the session to listen to the presentation of the submission, the verification report and the discussion session in groups and halls) on the content of arranging sources to pay debts under the Government's responsibility at the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC).

According to Mr. Le Quang Tung, the National Assembly Standing Committee also plans to adjust the implementation time for some other related contents accordingly. The closing session of the 9th Session will take place on the afternoon of June 27.

Previously, according to the program approved by the National Assembly at the preparatory session, the National Assembly was expected to close the session on the afternoon of June 28.
