National Assembly discusses draft Law on Real Estate Business and socio-economic situation

The National Assembly listened to Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh present the Report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the draft Law on Real Estate Business on the morning of October 31.

Next, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents of this draft Law that still had different opinions. National Assembly deputies highly appreciated the preparation of the report on acceptance and explanation by the National Assembly Standing Committee, agreed with many contents of the draft Law, and at the same time contributed many opinions to complete the draft Law. This is the basis for the National Assembly Standing Committee to continue directing the agencies in charge of examination and the agencies in charge of drafting to complete and submit to the National Assembly for consideration the most feasible option.

National Assembly delegates also gave their opinions on issues such as scope of regulation, consistency and synchronization with the legal system, guarantees in the sale and lease-purchase of future housing, real estate market conditions, dispute resolution, and transparent information disclosure.

However, the draft law still has many complicated issues, with great impacts and influences, related to the content of a number of other draft laws that are also being submitted by the National Assembly such as the Land Law and the Housing Law. Therefore, the National Assembly leaders requested that National Assembly deputies continue to contribute their comments in writing so that the competent authorities can receive and complete it in a careful, thorough and comprehensive manner.

On the same afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the assessment of the results of the implementation of the 2023 socio-economic development plan; the projected socio-economic development plan for 2024; the mid-term assessment of the implementation of the 2021-2025 socio-economic development plan; the economic restructuring plan for the 2021-2025 period. Results of the implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 on fiscal and monetary policies to support the socio-economic recovery and development program. Government report on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city. Results of the review of the system of legal documents according to the provisions of Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15 on the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Government members explained and clarified a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
