This is the first time the memory and concentration health screening program (TNmindtest) has been implemented in Vietnam.
The program aims to detect early signs of mild cognitive decline such as forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating or slower thinking in people between the ages of 35 and 50. These symptoms can be early signs of a condition called mild cognitive impairment (MCI), an intermediate stage between normal aging and more serious memory disorders.
Through the project, the units hope to contribute to raising public awareness about the importance of early brain care to prevent cognitive decline later on.
TNmindtest is a memory and concentration assessment tool, digitized by leading experts in the field of neurology and cognition, developed by VnADA and sponsored by Mayoly. The tool is built on the diagnostic criteria for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) issued by the American Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA) in 2011. The test focuses on functions that are often affected early in young people such as episodic memory, the ability to learn and remember new information; working memory, the ability to retain and process short-term information.

Mr. Mehdi Meftah, General Director of Asia Pacific of Mayoly affirmed: The memory and concentration health screening project not only demonstrates our sustainable commitment to providing daily brain health care solutions, but also demonstrates the cooperation that creates practical impact on patients and communities in Vietnam.
This project focuses specifically on the growing concern of brain health. Mayoly says that supporting early screening for memory and attention problems is crucial, and that starts in places closest to the community: pharmacies, clinics, and local communities.

Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen, Deputy General Directorof FPT Retail and Executive Director of Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center, shared: The cooperation between Mayoly, VnADA and Long Chau is a practical and meaningful step. We not only bring the screening program to pharmacies, but also expand it via an online platform so that anyone, anywhere, can proactively and easily access the method of checking memory health at home.
