The PRIME (Prevention of Risks in Infusion and Medication Errors in IV Therapy) program, based on international JCI standards, is developed by JCI experts (USA) in collaboration with Becton Dickinson (BD) to prevent the risk of infection and medication errors in intravenous therapy. The program is designed to standardize the entire infusion process through training, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement, helping hospitals enhance patient safety to international standards.

Over the years, Thien Hanh General Hospital has focused on improving service quality and updating care procedures, especially those related to intravenous infusion. Alongside updating techniques and professional recommendations, the hospital is implementing a continuous training program in 2025 on "Safe Intravenous Therapy," combined with standardization of equipment, supplies, a closed-loop system model, and other safety support factors.
The launch of the PRIME program, based on international JCI standards, is an important first step for Thien Hanh General Hospital in building a safe, high-quality healthcare system and gradually approaching international standards.
