Launch of the Certiva Digital Copyright Protection and Innovation Disclosure Platform

The Certiva platform (Certiva.org) is positioned as a complementary tool to other forms of creative publication such as: copyright registration with state management agencies; notarization; making a certificate or authentication by any other organization. The core objective of the platform is to provide authors with an immediate means to create primary, legally valid evidence of two key elements: author identity, time of existence and copyright protection of the work.

Certiva platform is a "Make in Vietnam" technology and legal initiative developed by the AI and Blockchain technology engineers of BH MEDIA Company (a member of VCCA), owned and operated by the Vietnam Digital Copyright Certification and Appraisal Center, a legal entity under the VCCA Association.

The unique point of Certiva lies in the "3 immutables" legal-technological model that harmoniously combines international standards and compliance with Vietnamese law, including: Encrypted fingerprint: Using algorithms to create a unique digital "fingerprint", ensuring the absolute integrity of the work at the time of registration; Certified timestamp: Issued by Viettel -CA, a Government-licensed entity, in compliance with the Law on Electronic Transactions 2023 and Decree 130/2018/ND-CP, providing high legal value in terms of time evidence in litigation in Vietnam; Public Blockchain ledger: The digital fingerprint of the work is permanently recorded on the public blockchain network, ensuring that the records and works cannot be modified or deleted and can be independently verified by anyone.

The Certiva platform was born according to the provisions of Article 198 of the Law on Intellectual Property, which stipulates the right to self-protection: Intellectual property rights holders have the right to apply measures to protect their intellectual property rights " Apply technological measures to protect rights, provide information on rights management or apply other technological measures to prevent acts of infringement of intellectual property rights".

This is also a practical initiative to respond to the State's policy on developing the digital economy and cultural industries, in line with the policy of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, while addressing practical challenges in copyright protection in the digital environment, contributing to effective support in the enforcement of intellectual property rights in Vietnam.

Mr. Bui Nguyen Hung, Chairman of VCCA said: Certiva's mission is to empower authors and creators with immediate self-defense rights, and at the same time open the door to global commercialization of Vietnamese works, contributing directly to the sustainable development of the creative industries and national cultural industries. This is also the official information channel of the Vietnam Copyright and Creativity Association to serve the propaganda, guidance, and introduction of creative development consulting activities and copyright protection. The Certiva platform has an AI chatbot, which is like a personal virtual assistant available 24/7.

At the launching ceremony of the Certiva Digital Copyright Protection and Innovation Disclosure Platform, VCCA also introduced the VCCA Media Pass Membership Card Set, which is considered an identification tool, helping to authenticate professional identity, creating favorable conditions for creators when cooperating with businesses, press agencies, media platforms and domestic and foreign partners.

The VCCA Media Pass Membership Card Set combines physical identification and digital technology applications, ensuring transparency, safety and high efficiency in member management. Through the VCCA Media Pass Membership Card Set, VCCA wishes to: Build a transparent and reliable identification system for the Vietnamese creative community; contribute to protecting copyrights and related rights and promoting a fair and professional creative environment; connect members in the creative ecosystem, opening up many opportunities for exchange, cooperation and development.

The launch of Certiva - Digital Copyright Protection and Creativity Publishing Platform and VCCA Media Pass Membership Card Set is considered an important strategic milestone of VCCA, contributing to the development of the country's creative and cultural industries in the digital age, effectively supporting the enforcement of copyright, one of the biggest challenges of the digital age.
