The book selects 50 articles by many authors, experts, and researchers at home and abroad, which have been published in prestigious journals such as Political Theory Journal, Military History Journal, Party History Journal, Past and Present Journal, contributing to providing a comprehensive and overall perspective on the greatest victory in modern Vietnamese history.
The book is structured into 3 parts: Part I: The leadership of the Party and State; Part II: Main developments and decisive factors on the battlefield; Part III: Historical value of the great victory of Spring 1975.
The book's sections recreate the resounding victories of our army and people, deeply depicting historical campaigns such as the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, major battles in the Central Highlands, Quang Tri , Hue... and especially, clarifying the important role of the Party and State in building strategies and making correct decisions to bring the resistance war to final victory.
The Great Victory of Spring 1975 was not only a great historical milestone of the Vietnamese people, but also had a profound influence on the international arena, attracting the attention and evaluation of many countries and international organizations.
