On the morning of November 28, the Management Board of Ha Tinh Economic Zones held a meeting with investors in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure on attracting investment in science and technology development and innovation in industrial parks.
Comrade Tran Viet Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board chaired the meeting.
According to the report, currently, Ha Tinh has 7 established industrial parks, of which the remaining industrial land area of Vung Ang 1, Gia Lach, Hoanh Son industrial parks is small, unlikely to attract high-tech industrial investors. The expanded Phu Vinh, Bac Thach Ha, Vinhomes Vung Ang, Gia Lach industrial parks have enough potential to attract high-tech projects.
The industries attracting investment in these industrial parks are multi-disciplinary in nature, including: scientific research, technology development, biotechnology and high-tech.
According to the province's orientation, in the coming time, a high-tech industrial park model will be developed, in which priority will be given to planning for areas with strategic locations, close to urban centers and with good connectivity, which are suitable locations for development. At the same time, investors in industrial park infrastructure need to have orientation, shift, and prioritize attracting investment in strategic areas such as: electronic component manufacturing, semiconductors, new energy technology (electric vehicle battery manufacturing), precision mechanics and automation. For the specialized industrial park model, it will focus deeply on a specific field, creating a competitive advantage thanks to scale and specialization.
At the meeting, investors such as Vinhomes Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company, VISIP Ha Tinh Company Limited, Phu Vinh Infrastructure Construction Investment Joint Stock Company... reported on the progress of infrastructure construction and the results of attracting projects to do business in industrial parks. At the same time, they discussed with the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board some difficulties and problems related to site clearance, electricity and water infrastructure...
Concluding the meeting, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Tran Viet Ha acknowledged and accepted the recommendations and proposals of the investors. At the same time, he requested the Board's specialized departments to enhance their sense of responsibility, proactively review, classify and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to promptly resolve issues, creating all favorable conditions for investors to implement projects.
To promote investment attraction for science and technology development, innovation in industrial parks, increase production value and contribute to economic growth, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Tran Viet Ha requested that investors and businesses in industrial park infrastructure have orientation, prioritize projects applying advanced technology, high technology, core technology; develop models of smart industrial parks; increase financial resources to implement innovation activities of enterprises; proactively coordinate with the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board in promoting and introducing the advantages of industrial parks; pay attention to building green, clean and beautiful environmental landscapes of industrial parks.
