Al Nassr is expected to announce a new contract with CR7 soon. The terms of the contract have not been disclosed. Many sources in Spain said that Ronaldo could reduce his income at Al Nassr in the new contract, in return he will receive 5% of the team's shares, along with other incentives when investing in Saudi Arabia.

Sportbible estimates Ronaldo's total earnings after leaving Manchester United for Al Nassr at around £422m, not including income from other advertising and sponsorship contracts.
Ronaldo was rumored to join Al Hilal but the deal did not happen. The Portuguese superstar also confirmed that he would not participate in the FIFA Club World Cup despite receiving many offers. Clubs are willing to borrow Ronaldo for a month to compete in the Club World Cup.
