Along with Phu Bai airport (Thua Thien Hue), there are 3 other airports: Da Nang (Da Nang city), Dong Hoi (Quang Binh) and Chu Lai (Quang Nam).

Specifically, Phu Bai International Airport will temporarily suspend operations from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 27; Dong Hoi Airport will suspend operations from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 27; Da Nang International Airport will suspend operations from 6:00 a.m. on October 27 to 4:00 a.m. on October 28; Chu Lai Airport will suspend operations from 10:00 a.m. on October 27 to 10:00 a.m. on October 28.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, storm No. 6 is likely to affect and threaten the safety of operations at a number of airports, so the Authority requires the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation to announce appropriate aviation information in accordance with current regulations and ensure absolute safety in flight operations.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. on October 26, the center of storm No. 6 was located in the sea north of Hoang Sa archipelago, about 440km east-northeast of Da Nang, the strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 11-12 (103-133km/h), gusting to level 15.

Due to the impact of the storm, the sea areas of the provinces from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai (including Con Co Island, Cu Lao Cham, Ly Son) have strong winds of level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9, the area near the storm's center has winds of level 10-11, gusting to level 14.

On land, from the morning of October 27, the coastal area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, near the storm center level 8-9, gusting to level 12.
