Ready to distribute 2,000 tons of national reserve rice to people

On the morning of November 25, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province issued a notice on the organization of receiving and distributing 2,000 tons of national reserve rice to support people affected by floods in the province, according to Decision No. 2205, dated November 24, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, the department coordinated with the State Reserve Department of Region XIII to organize the handover of rice to 44 communes and wards, the receiving time is from November 25 to December 1, 2025. Localities are required to arrange forces and means to receive on time, ensuring distribution to the right subjects, at the right rate of 15 kg/person/month, according to Decree No. 20/2021. The reception and distribution must be timely, of the right type, in sufficient quantity and ensuring complete records and procedures.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment also requested that communes and wards that have not received support or have not received enough support proactively arrange local resources to help people with hunger; in case of resource difficulties, a written document must be sent to the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Finance for synthesis and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration. At the same time, localities must report implementation results within 3 days after the end of rice receipt.
