
On the night of November 21, more than 500 officers and soldiers were mobilized in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces. The Region 4 Command added more than 200 mobile officers and soldiers to the deeply flooded areas. In the direction of Tay Nha Trang ward, the rapid departure unit directly commanded by Colonel Bui Quang Thuyen, Deputy Commander of the Region, used high-capacity motorboats to overcome the flood, approach dangerous points and organize rescue throughout the night.

By 9 a.m. on November 22, the region's working groups had assisted in evacuating more than 5,000 people from deep, dangerous flooded areas; at the same time, they provided fresh water, dry food, instant noodles and necessities to stranded households.

In parallel with the rescue mission, the medical force of Region 4 has deployed disinfectant spraying, distributing essential medicines and checking the health of people in flooded areas, limiting the risk of disease outbreaks after floods.

Currently, the Naval Region 4 Command is continuing to increase the number of troops and vehicles to deeply flooded areas; coordinating with local authorities to clear sewers, collect waste, clean the environment, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
