This morning, June 5, domestic gold prices increased by 500,000 VND/tael in the context of rising world precious metal prices.

Early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,395 USD/ounce, a sharp increase compared to 3,358 USD/ounce at the same time the previous day. Gold prices increased because trade tensions showed no signs of cooling down.

At 9:00 a.m., the price of precious metals was trading at 3,374 USD/ounce, about 10.6 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the domestic market, opening, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed gold rings of type 1-5 at only 111.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 114 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 500,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of yesterday.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited increased from 113.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.2 million VND/tael (sell) to 113.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 116.5 million VND/tael (sell).

In the same trend, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company listed the price at 111.9 million VND/tael (buy) - 114 million VND/tael (sell), 700,000 VND/tael (buy) and 400,000 VND/tael (sell) higher than the end of yesterday.

The price of SJC gold bars also increased. Enterprises set it at 115.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.7 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 500,000 VND/tael each way.

The gold buying and selling price range commonly listed by businesses is 2.1-3 million VND/tael.

Yesterday, SJC gold price remained stable while gold ring price remained the same in some places and decreased slightly in others.
