Police were present at the scene to investigate the incident.

The deceased victim was Mr. Le Van G. (born in 1976), residing in Thuan Loc ward; 3 injured people were Mr. Dang C. (born in 1959), Mr. Le Van S. (born in 1993) and Mr. Le Van H. (born in 1996). All 3 resided in Hue city.

Previously, at around 2:30 p.m. the same day, at house number 23 Le Trung Dinh, Thuan Loc ward, a wall collapsed while repairing a kiosk.

Immediately after the incident, Thuan Loc Ward Police, Hue City Police and functional forces quickly arrived at the scene to assist in taking the victim to the emergency room and investigating the cause of the incident.
