On August 8, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said it had mobilized machinery and equipment to the area of provincial road DT.729 through Tan Ha village, To Mrang village, and Cho Rung village (Ta Nang commune).

Here, 3 vehicles including a vibrating roller, an excavator, and a leveling truck were mobilized for repairs. The vehicles will level the mud on the dirt road surface, and the excavator will cut a horizontal trench to drain water.
After leveling the mud and soil, the hill will be filled with compacted gravel to ensure traffic. For weak roadbed locations that have been destroyed, the authorities will pour rocks to reinforce the foundation.

Previously, on August 2, 2025, SGGP Newspaper reported that the provincial road DT.729 through Ta Nang commune, about 15km long, was severely degraded, affecting the daily life and production of more than 430 households with about 1,800 people.

After the rains, DT.729 becomes a nightmare for people who have to pass through it because it is often flooded and muddy.

The road surface has long been eroded, creating potholes and mud, posing a danger to people and vehicles.
It is known that Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has decided to invest in the project to build DT.729 road with a length of 25.8km, of which about 10.7km is newly built and 15.1km is upgraded and expanded. The starting point is at the roundabout of DH11 road (near the headquarters of Quang Lap Commune People's Committee), the end point intersects with DT.728 road in Ta Nang Commune. The road will meet the standards of a grade 4 mountainous road, with a 6m wide road surface, 1m wide sidewalk on each side, including 3 new bridges.
The project will be implemented in the period of 2025-2028 with a total investment of 1,060 billion VND. The project will be synchronously connected with National Highway 28B, DT.728 road, connecting Khanh Hoa province and the province.
