The three transaction offices of SCB Cau Giay Branch are Nguyen Thi Dinh Transaction Office (No. 43 Nguyen Thi Dinh, Yen Hoa Ward); Lac Long Quan Transaction Office (No. 113 Lac Long Quan, Tay Ho Ward) and My Dinh Transaction Office (No. 24 - A1 Le Duc Tho Street, Tu Liem Ward).
Also is Ngo Thi Nham Transaction Office, belonging to SCB Hai Ba Trung Branch, address: 44 Ngo Thi Nham, Hai Ba Trung Ward.
The termination date of the above 4 transaction offices is from August 23.
SCB said that all customer rights are still fully guaranteed at this bank's transaction points.
After August 23, SCB will have only 50 transaction offices in 20 provinces and cities nationwide, a sharp decrease of 157 transaction offices, equivalent to 75% of the number of transaction offices compared to the end of 2022.
In 2024 alone, this bank has terminated operations at 95 transaction points.
The number of transaction offices closed in 2025, as of this time, is 18 transaction offices.
Along with the termination of the transaction points, SCB also drastically cut staff and liquidated a series of assets including specialized cars, ATMs and other assets.
At the end of 2024, SCB also announced that it would stop providing Internet Banking services on computers for individual customers, including functions such as money transfer, balance inquiry, bill payment, tax payment, opening and closing online savings books.
SCB was established in 2011 on the basis of voluntary merger of 3 banks: Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB), First Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Ficombank) and Vietnam Tin Nghia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TinNghiaBank).
To date, SCB has a charter capital of VND20,000 billion. From the end of 2022 until now, SCB is still under special control of the State Bank and is in the process of restructuring.
