A highlight of the tournament was Le Chuc An's bronze medal in the women's individual event, marking a historic milestone for Vietnamese women's golf at the SEA Games. The young golfer finished the four rounds with a total score of +5, ranking fourth overall. According to the Games' regulations, each country is only allowed a maximum of two medals in each individual event. With all three leading positions held by golfers from host country Thailand, Le Chuc An was awarded the bronze medal.

This marks the first time Vietnamese women's golf has won a medal at a SEA Games, signifying a significant milestone in the development of the sport and opening up new hopes for its long-term growth. The remaining Vietnamese female golfers also performed well, with Le Nguyen Minh Anh achieving a total score of +38, and Nguyen Viet Gia Han finishing with +44.

In the men's individual event, Nguyen Anh Minh continued to demonstrate consistent form and impressive competitive spirit. The 18-year-old golfer finished the tournament with four consecutive under par rounds, achieving a total score of -10 to win the Silver Medal. This is Anh Minh's second consecutive SEA Games medal in the individual event, following his Bronze Medal at the previous Games, thus affirming his position as one of the leading figures in Vietnamese golf today.

In the men's team event, with close coordination and a competitive spirit throughout the four days, the Vietnamese men's golf team, consisting of Nguyen Anh Minh, Ho Anh Huy, Nguyen Tuan Anh, and Nguyen Trong Hoang, won the Bronze Medal. This is the second consecutive time the Vietnamese men's golf team has won a team medal at the SEA Games, demonstrating stability and depth of strength in the context of increasingly fierce regional competition.

All the gold medals in golf at the 33rd SEA Games went to the host nation, Thailand. In the men's individual event, Laopakdee Pongsapak won the gold medal with a total score of -21; in the women's individual event, Prachnakorn Prim won the gold medal with a total score of -9. Thailand also won gold medals in both the men's and women's team events.

The achievement of winning 3 medals at the 33rd SEA Games is the result of serious preparation, disciplined competition, and close support from the coaching staff and athletes of the Vietnamese golf team.

More importantly, this historic milestone for Vietnamese women's golf demonstrates positive progress, laying the foundation for the sport to continue striving towards higher goals in the future.
