BHG - On the afternoon of April 24, in Ha Giang province, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces held a conference to agree on the arrangement and merger plan between the two agencies.

Leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces signed the merger plan.

At the conference, leaders of the two Departments made a preliminary assessment of the current situation of the organization and operation of the Industry and Trade sector in the locality, and discussed the core contents of the merger project, including: Plan to arrange the organizational structure; orientation of functions and tasks after the merger; name of the unit; method of arranging and using the staff to ensure stability and not interrupt professional work. For the positions of heads of units under the Department, the selection criteria will be based on main criteria such as professional qualifications, management, political theory, work achievements and participation in the Party Committee. Sub-criteria such as planning for positions, seniority, gender, age and ethnicity will also be considered, in order to maximize the capacity and strengths of the staff.

The two sides agreed that the merger must ensure continuity, not cause disruption, and maintain continuous operations and expertise during the transition period. Particularly for the team working in Ha Giang, the arrangement needs to be carefully considered to suit the actual tasks and work area. With the spirit of solidarity, openness and responsibility, the conference achieved high consensus on important contents. The two Departments committed to continue to closely coordinate in implementing the next steps, ensuring progress, quality and suitability to the specific situation of each locality.
