On August 14, the Department of Education and Training issued a document guiding the time to return to school, open the school year and organize activities at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year for the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones and affiliated units.

Accordingly, students will return to school on August 27; Grades 1, 9 and 12 will return to school on August 20. The Department of Education and Training requires schools to organize a reception for new students, creating conditions for them to quickly integrate into the new environment; guide students to learn about the school's traditions, organizational structure, apparatus, physical facilities, learning equipment, regulations, programs, and educational activities.
