The digitization of artifacts promoting Vietnam's sovereignty over the islands was completed on January 19, exactly 50 years since China used force to occupy the Hoang Sa archipelago under Vietnam's sovereignty.

Mr. Le Tien Cong, Director of Hoang Sa Exhibition House, said that digitizing and posting on the official website of the Exhibition House will help people living far away to look up and learn about the artifacts before visiting the museum or for study and research purposes.

Hoang Sa Exhibition House is located on Hoang Sa Street, Son Tra District, inaugurated in March 2018, attracting many visitors. In 10 months of 2023 (the first two months of the year were closed for repairs), the Exhibition House welcomed more than 21,000 visitors.

The exhibits on display are mainly documents, maps, images... reflecting the historical process of exploration and establishment of Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago from the Nguyen Dynasty to the Republic of Vietnam.
