On the morning of June 24, social networks spread an image of a worker standing behind a water tanker watering plants on Nguyen Trai Street (through Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi ) despite heavy rain. Accordingly, the tanker with license plate 29H-491.xx was carrying a worker wearing a hat, using a hose from the tank to spray water down on the beds of plants located in the middle of the median strip of Nguyen Trai Street (through Thanh Xuan Tunnel from Ha Dong to Nga Tu So). The image after being posted received many comments, many people said that watering plants in heavy rain is unnecessary, a waste of resources and money. On the morning of June 24, Tuoi Tre Online contacted the Hanoi Department of Construction to learn more about the incident. Talking to reporters, a leader of the Hanoi Department of Construction Office said that after receiving the information, the department assigned the leaders of the Hanoi City Technical Infrastructure Management Center and the Greenery - Lighting Department to inspect. "This is a phenomenon, but we will instruct all workers in the city to remind them about this incident. When it rains, people say that it is right to water the plants" - this person added. In further discussion with Tuoi Tre Online , a leader of the Department of Greenery and Lighting, Hanoi Department of Construction said that after receiving the information, the department had conducted an inspection to rectify the above situation.
