Exciting Fishing Competition

Within the framework of the New Rice Festival 2025, on the morning of August 31, at Muong Chien 1 village, Ngoc Chien commune, a fishing competition took place.

This year’s fishing competition attracted 30 athletes from 15 teams of 15 villages. Each team consisted of 1 male and 1 female. Within 15 minutes, the contestants competed enthusiastically and demonstrated their dexterity and agility to catch the most fish.

Fishing is not only a production activity but also a traditional cultural feature closely associated with the lives of ethnic minorities in Ngoc Chien.
