Exciting Voluntary Blood Donation Festival 2025

Youth Union members participate in voluntary blood donation in 2025.

This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and towards the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. Attending were Deputy Director of the Department of Health Lam Nhu Quynh, representatives of the leaders of the organizing units and many union members and youth in the province.

According to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province Phan Thanh Tre, with more than 2,200 blood donations each year, the provincial youth union members and youth are enthusiastically joining the youth of the whole country in effectively pioneering the voluntary blood donation movement, contributing to solving the blood shortage. Blood donation activities are carried out throughout, typically during peak occasions in response to the "Pink Spring Festival", "National Blood Donor Day April 7"; " World Blood Donor Day June 14"; "Summer Blood Drops" Campaign, "Red Journey" Program ... contributing to raising people's awareness of humanitarian blood donation, promoting and upholding the humanitarian gesture, the noble tradition of the Vietnamese people.

In addition, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union always encourage the establishment of blood donation clubs such as: Reserve blood donation clubs, voluntary blood donation clubs, rare blood type clubs, blood donation family clubs, etc. to create a healthy living environment, share the joy of blood donation to save lives and improve the quality of propaganda activities among young people and the masses.

At the 2025 Youth Union Day, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province Phan Thanh Tre also called on all groups and individuals to actively respond and register for the Youth Union.

Awarding certificates of merit to individuals of the "Coconut Blood Drops" Club for outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation activities.

On this occasion, the Secretariat of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union commended 9 individuals who are members of the "Coconut Blood Drops" Club with outstanding achievements in blood donation, blood donation mobilization, and active participation in activities for social security and community health.

Awarding the Decision to strengthen the Executive Board and admitting new members to the Club “Drops of Blood of Coconut Land”. Performing the ceremony to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the establishment of the Club “Drops of Blood of Coconut Land” under the Vietnam Youth Union of the province.

The organizers presented letters and potted plants of gratitude to the accompanying units. The festival received nearly 150 units of blood from the volunteer forces.
