Son La receives funding to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

On the afternoon of April 10, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received funding to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Son La province, donated by Xuan Thien Group. Attending the reception were comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrade Vi Duc Tho, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Xuan Thien Group is one of the leading groups in Vietnam in the fields of hydropower, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture , construction materials and infrastructure. In recent times, the Group has always focused on social security, demonstrated through many practical activities such as: Building charity houses, supporting the poor, sponsoring education and healthcare. At the program, representatives of Xuan Thien Group donated 20 billion 400 million VND to support the elimination of 340 temporary and dilapidated houses in Son La province. This activity continues to affirm the group's responsibility to the community and its profound humanitarian spirit.

According to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in 2025, the whole province will have about 2,887 households needing financial support to build new houses and repair houses, with a total cost of over 160 billion VND. Of which, 214 households are people with revolutionary contributions, 343 households are part of national target programs, 2,330 households are poor and near-poor households. By April 10, the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee had received support from organizations and individuals for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025 with an amount of over 61 billion VND. In addition, districts, cities and towns in the province have promoted internal resources, launched emulation movements, and have many good ways to contribute efforts and funds to support the elimination of temporary houses.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet sincerely thanked Xuan Thien Group for its attention, help and support to Son La province in implementing social security programs. The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is a humane and meaningful program, helping households in difficult circumstances to settle down and make a living. He hopes that in the coming time, the group will continue to pay attention, survey and implement investment projects in various fields in the province, contributing to helping the locality successfully complete its socio -economic development tasks./.
