Thuan Chau summarizes the national target program for sustainable poverty reduction

Conference to review the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction.

Attending the conference were comrades: Dinh Thi Bich Thao, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

In the 2021-2025 period, the capital allocated to implement sub-projects and projects under the program is over 422 billion 763 million VND, of which over 369 billion 053 million VND has been allocated, including: Investment capital of over 266 billion VND; public service capital of over 102 billion VND; unallocated funds (public service capital, central budget allocated in 2025) of 53.7 billion VND. By April 2025, over 301 billion VND had been disbursed, reaching 81.58% of the allocated capital plan.

From sub-projects and projects under the 2021-2025 program, the district has invested in the construction of 18 infrastructure works and the maintenance of 95 works serving people's lives and production. Supported nearly 1,200 cows for community production groups; 1,011 households were supported to build and repair houses. The whole district has 20,675 households receiving loans, with a total loan turnover of more than 1,001 billion VND; health insurance cards were issued to 661,543 beneficiaries; 237,180 students, teachers were supported ineducation and training. Regular allowances were paid to 405,961 social protection beneficiaries....

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested Thuan Chau district to review the tasks when performing the tasks of the two-level government; at the same time, prioritize resources for communes with special difficulties. Focus on implementing production linkage chains and closed production to increase product value; mobilize resources to develop transport infrastructure and other infrastructure... contributing to bringing stable income and improving people's lives.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Thuan Chau district awarded certificates of merit to 27 collectives and 44 individuals with achievements in implementing the Poverty Reduction Target Program in the district for the period 2021-2025.
