The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a document directing the heads of departments and branches under the Provincial People's Committee to draft a decision on the position, functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee after the rearrangement.

To ensure the issuance of legal documents of the province in accordance with the correct order and procedures, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the departments and branches, based on the plan to reorganize the specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, to proactively review and develop a draft decision of the Provincial People's Committee stipulating the position, functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of their departments and branches after reorganization to ensure correct order, procedures and prescribed time.

Accordingly, there are 22 documents that need to be amended, supplemented, replaced, or abolished. The finance, planning, and investment sector has the most with 5 decisions regulating the position, functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment. For the departments implementing the merger, the agency in charge of drafting documents amends, supplements, replaces, or abolishes the decisions on the functions and tasks of the departments.
