The power of the "bridge" between the Party and the people

Over the years, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations of the province have always played a good role as a bridge between Party committees at all levels, the government and the people; diversified the forms of organization and methods of gathering and mobilizing to build and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc; created consensus in promoting the socio -economic development of the province.

Diversify activities in localities

Constantly innovating the content and methods of operation, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in localities always have good models and creative ways of doing things, bringing the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to the people, promoting emulation, promoting all potentials and resources among the people for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development.

Typical examples include the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Ba Che district in mobilizing people to develop the economy, sustainably reduce poverty, eliminate backward customs, and build a new cultural life.

In addition to building models and tasks, every year the Fatherland Front coordinates with the district government to organize meetings to commend and reward poor households that have escaped poverty... By the end of 2023, Ba Che no longer has poor households according to the central criteria, 21 poor households, and 111 near-poor households according to the province's criteria. Ba Che is the first district in the country to have 200 households write applications to leave poverty. By the end of 2023, the district's average income per capita will reach over 72 million VND/year.

Quang Yen town is a vibrant area with many industrial parks and many investment projects. In the first 6 months of 2024, the town carried out 31 land acquisition projects. Yen Giang ward alone carried out 3 large projects, reclaiming over 20 hectares of land, 255 households and organizations were affected. Promoting the role of mobilizing people to carry out land acquisition work, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Yen Giang ward propagated and fully informed policies and legal regulations on compensation prices, support for land acquisition, resettlement for affected households; supervised the public posting of compensation for land acquisition... The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the ward coordinated with departments and offices to organize 2 public meetings on planning, inventory, and additional counting; 18 dialogues, propaganda, mobilization, exchange, persuasion for households to receive money, hand over land... By June 2024, the ward had liberated and handed over 4.13 hectares of agricultural land and 614 square ^meters of residential land to investors to implement the project.

Promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province have played a good role in mobilizing and gathering people from all walks of life. At the same time, they have focused on promoting democracy, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members and the people; contributing to concretizing, institutionalizing and perfecting the mechanism of "Party leadership, State management, People mastery" associated with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit".

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations are always proactive and responsible in collecting opinions on Party documents, draft laws submitted to the National Assembly, programs, projects, and proposals of the central and provincial levels. Promoting the role of a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations in the province have proactively coordinated to propose organizing direct dialogues between the heads of Party committees and governments with union members, association members and people periodically and suddenly; supervising the meetings between the heads of Party committees and governments with Party cell secretaries - village (hamlet, neighborhood) heads, heads of the Front work committees, etc.

The monitoring activities were implemented comprehensively, synchronously, with focus and key points by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations. Thereby, recommendations were made to all levels and sectors to find solutions to overcome difficulties, obstacles and inadequacies affecting socio-economic development and social stability; ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals, contributing to the implementation of local political tasks. From 2019 to present, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations in the province have chaired, organized and completed 2,720 monitoring programs in all fields.

The Fatherland Front at all levels also synchronously implements solutions to grasp the grassroots situation, actively mobilize cadres, union members, association members and people to respond to and effectively implement the socio-economic development policies and tasks of the province and locality, help each other sustainably reduce poverty, improve living standards, encourage legitimate enrichment; build cultural families; participate in environmental protection...

By the end of 2023, 98/98 communes of the province met the new rural standards; the province completed the new rural criteria and targets, finishing 2 years ahead of schedule; was the first locality in the country to complete the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025, moving to the stage of building and implementing according to the province's new multidimensional poverty standards (1.4 times higher than the national level).

The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province continue to promote propaganda and mobilize all classes of people, Quang Ninh people at home and abroad to unite and join hands to build Quang Ninh into a model, rich, civilized and modern province by 2030.
