Introduction: A Bo Y child in Thanh Binh commune, Muong Khuong district, Lao Cai province is happy when his grandmothers and mothers dress him in new clothes to prepare for the festival. The Bo Y are the only ethnic minority group with less than 10,000 people in Lao Cai, so they have meticulously and carefully preserved their traditional culture. For them, traditional costumes are an indispensable treasure of their people, especially during holidays and Tet.
