While bathing with a friend in the irrigation canal from Ke Go Lake (Cam Xuyen, Ha Tinh ), THA tragically drowned.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Tri - Chairman of Cam Thanh Commune People's Committee informed that at 6:00 p.m. on April 23, at the N3 Canal bridge area (main irrigation canal of Ke Go Lake) in Dong My village, Cam Thanh commune (Cam Xuyen), a tragic drowning incident occurred.

The victim was THA (born in 2007, residing in TDP 1, Cam Xuyen town). At the time of the incident, the victim went swimming in the canal with a group of friends. Due to the deep water level and strong currents, A. was swept away.

Although the group of friends quickly called for help from local residents, they were unable to save A's life.

It is known that Ke Go Lake is open to provide irrigation water for agricultural production in the area. The area where the accident occurred has a water level of more than 3m deep. This area has also had many tragic drowning accidents.
