The memorial was built in 1994 on a solemn land, convenient for visiting, showing the precious heart of the provincial government and people in preserving and spreading Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

After many renovations and expansions, the project is increasingly spacious and complete with an area of over 6.7 hectares. The items are planned harmoniously, delicately combining traditional architecture and cool green ecological space.

Right from the entrance, visitors can feel the solemn and quiet atmosphere. The straight brick-paved road, tall trees, meticulously tended flower beds... all create a peaceful, intimate but still respectful space.

The highlight of the complex is the stilt house - a prototype of the Presidential Palace in Hanoi . Every small detail recreates Uncle Ho's simple and noble lifestyle: the rustic wooden table, simple bamboo bed, paper fan, oil lamp... Not only are they historical artifacts, these items are also symbols of a great personality, exemplary and humble lifestyle.

Ms. Le Thi Cam Nhung, a tour guide at the Memorial, shared: “This stilt house most clearly shows Ca Mau’s heart towards Uncle Ho. From the fish pond, star apple tree, sandals, paper fans... everything is restored to look like Uncle Ho’s house in Hanoi. It is as if Uncle Ho is always here, in the hearts of every Ca Mau citizen.”

In the campus, many meaningful items were built, such as the stone statue exhibition area, the stele house affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands - where 21 stones from the Truong Sa archipelago are kept, proving the steadfast will to protect the territorial integrity of the nation. The area displaying images and artifacts about the life, career and ideology of Ho Chi Minh is a familiar destination for groups of students, cadres and soldiers. Through each black and white photo, each simple caption, viewers seem to relive a historical period full of sacrifice, dedication and noble ideals.

Uncle Ho's stilt house was restored according to the original model at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

The center of the memorial area is the altar of President Ho Chi Minh, where people and tourists from all over come to offer flowers and incense in memory. The space here is solemnly decorated, with Uncle Ho's statue placed in the most sacred position, soft light and incense spreading, bringing a sacred and emotional feeling.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ba, a lecturer at Ca Mau Community College, expressed: “As a native of Ca Mau, I am very proud that my hometown has a President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site. This place not only has historical and educational values, contributing to nurturing revolutionary ideals for the young generation, but is also a special cultural and spiritual space, where people express their sacred feelings to the Father of the nation.”

Every year, on major holidays such as May 19, September 2 or the industry's traditional day, thousands of people, students and officials come here to offer flowers, incense, report to Uncle Ho and organize many meaningful activities.
