After a period of urgent construction, the bridge at the Kinh Chu Dinh - Kenh Lung Thay Rong intersection was completed and officially put into use, contributing to improving the appearance of the countryside, facilitating travel, trade and improving people's lives.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Buddhist Society Charity Board , Ca Mau province, spoke at the bridge inauguration ceremony.
Mr. Pham Hong Ngu, Vice Chairman of U Minh Commune People's Committee, awarded the Golden Heart Certificate to the sponsor.
Tu Bi 34 Bridge is 24 m long, 3.2 m wide, with a total construction cost of 276 million VND. The project was funded 50% by the Vietnam Buddhist Social Charity Committee of the province, mobilizing the Van Nam family (Florida, USA), the remaining amount was contributed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, calling on a philanthropist in Ho Chi Minh City.
30 students received gifts from sponsors on the occasion of the bridge inauguration.
On this occasion, the sponsor presented 30 gifts to students in difficult circumstances, each gift included school bags, notebooks, candy and 200,000 VND. The bridge's use demonstrates the spirit of sharing of the donors, contributing to the completion of rural traffic infrastructure. This is also the 747th bridge that the Vietnam Buddhist Social Charity Committee of Ca Mau province has mobilized to build in the province.
