• The "key" to sustainable business development

Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, spoke at the working session with Southern Shrimp Joint Stock Company.

At Southern Shrimp Joint Stock Company (Khuc Treo hamlet, Phong Thanh commune), the business representative reported production and business results and pointed out some difficulties and problems in the operation process.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Ho Thanh Thuy acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the enterprise , one of the units with large shrimp export value in the province, which has affirmed its reputation and position in many international markets.

Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy emphasized that the success of Southern Shrimp shows a positive change in private economic development, especially in the field of aquaculture, a strength of Ca Mau province.

Representative of Southern Shrimp Joint Stock Company reported on the company's operations, difficulties and problems that the company is facing.

Sharing the difficulties of enterprises such as labor fluctuations, high raw material costs affecting production efficiency, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that functional agencies promptly study and propose appropriate support solutions to help enterprises stabilize operations and develop sustainably. He also hoped that enterprises would continue to promote the role of Party organizations and unions in the unit, linking production development with building corporate culture, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution 68.

On the same afternoon , the working delegation continued to survey Trang Khanh Processing and Import-Export Company Limited (Vinh Trach Ward) and Viet Uc Nha Mat Joint Stock Company - under Viet Uc Group (Hiep Thanh Ward). The delegation included comrade Le Thi Nhung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, and representatives of a number of relevant departments and branches.

The working group conducted a survey at Trang Khanh Processing and Import-Export Company Limited.

At Trang Khanh Company, a business representative said that in the first 9 months of the year, despite many fluctuations in the market and high input material prices, thanks to proactive management, the company still maintained stable production, ensuring jobs and income for workers. The business proposed that the province support labor recruitment, expand high-tech shrimp farming areas that meet international standards and create conditions to access preferential loans to expand production.

Ms. Tran Yen Hoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province, shared labor support solutions for Trang Khanh Processing and Import-Export Company Limited.

The delegation then went to work with Viet Uc Nha Mat Joint Stock Company, an investor in the production of high-quality shrimp seeds, developing in the direction of a closed value chain from seeds to processing and export.

Here, comrade Ho Thanh Thuy praised the proactive, creative and flexible spirit of enterprises in maintaining production, creating jobs and actively contributing to local economic growth.

Mr. Vo Van Xuan, CEO of Viet Uc Nha Mat Joint Stock Company, shares the company's activities.

Affirming that the private economic sector is an important driving force in the double-digit growth target of Ca Mau province, he emphasized: “The province sets a target of an economic growth rate of 10% or more for the 2026-2030 period. To achieve that goal, strong cooperation from the private business community is needed. The province will continue to research and issue specific and more open mechanisms and policies to create a favorable environment for business development.”

He also directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment and local authorities to review and remove difficulties in linking farming areas; at the same time, he requested businesses to strengthen coordination, promote the role of mass organizations, build a cohesive and responsible workforce, and strive to have more outstanding individuals admitted to the Party.

The delegation attended the production camp of Viet Uc Nha Mat Joint Stock Company.

Concluding the working session, comrade Ho Thanh Thuy emphasized that local authorities and businesses need to regularly connect, share information, promptly resolve difficulties, and work towards the goal of sustainable economic development, enhancing the position of Ca Mau province in the region and the whole country.
