FDI poured heavily into Hai Phong, more than 1.2 billion USD in 10 months

In just 10 months, Hai Phong city attracted 165 more FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than 1.2 billion USD, affirming its attractiveness as the country's leading dynamic investment destination.

According to the report of the City People's Committee, from the beginning of 2025 to the end of October, the whole city attracted 165 more projects with foreign direct investment (FDI), with a total registered investment capital of more than 1.2 billion USD. Of which, in industrial parks and economic zones, there were 88 projects, reaching 1,143.5 million USD (accounting for 91.64%); outside industrial parks and economic zones, there were 77 projects reaching 104.3 million USD (accounting for 8.36%).

Also during the same period, the city had 120 projects adjusting capital increases with a total increase of 990.4 million USD; 25 projects contributing capital and buying shares with a total of 69.97 million USD.

To date, Hai Phong city has 1,761 valid FDI projects with a total investment capital of 50.64 billion USD. Of which, in industrial parks and economic zones there are 1,017 projects with a total investment capital of 42.80 billion USD; outside industrial parks and economic zones there are 744 projects with an investment capital of 7.84 billion USD.

In recent times, the city has increased promotion and connection with FDI enterprises, attracting large-scale, high-tech FDI projects, especially in the processing, manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence industries.
