Newly established enterprises in Hai Phong increase in number and investment capital

In the first 10 months of 2025, business development in Hai Phong city achieved positive results when the number of newly established enterprises exceeded the set target.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Hai Phong city had nearly 6,300 newly established enterprises, exceeding the annual plan by 3.2%, up 33.8% over the same period last year. The total registered capital of newly established enterprises was more than 65,000 billion VND, up 161.8% over the same period last year.

The increase in both the number and registered capital of newly established enterprises reflects the favorable and open investment and business environment that the city's levels and sectors are striving to build. The positive results of developing new enterprises contribute to creating momentum and promoting socio -economic development so that the city can achieve its growth targets.

Hai Phong City currently has more than 45,000 operating enterprises. Implementing Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, the city strives to have more than 87,000 operating enterprises by 2030, contributing about 43 - 45% of GRDP and creating jobs for 60 - 62% of the total labor force in the area.
