Da Nang: Young armed forces join forces to clean up after floods

ĐNO - On the morning of November 8, units under the Da Nang City Border Guard Command coordinated with the 4th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Company (PPK Regiment 224), the Police and Military of Son Tra Ward to simultaneously organize a campaign to clean up the marine environment after the impact of heavy rain.

Forces joined forces to clean up coastal routes.

After many days of heavy rain, Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap, Nhu Nguyet streets and Tien Sa beach were flooded with garbage washed ashore by the waves.

The officers and soldiers divided into many groups to clean up trash, shovel sand, and transport fallen trees.

After the storm, a large amount of garbage washed up on the beach.

The Border Guard units of Da Nang Port, Son Tra Border Guard Station (City Border Guard Command) actively coordinated with Anti-Aircraft Artillery Company 4, police force, Son Tra ward army and local people to clean up the environment, contributing to restoring the city's tourist landscape.

Lieutenant Nguyen Quoc Bao, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Da Nang Port Border Guard, shared: "Not only cleaning up trash in the beach area, the youth union members also clean up sand covering the coastal routes to ensure safety for people when traveling."
