DNO – On November 8, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Da Nang City Police announced that it had served the decision to prosecute the accused and the order to temporarily detain Dang Dinh Quy (born in 1986, residing in Hai Van ward) for the act of "Taking advantage of position and power while performing official duties".

Previously, from the source of information about the crime of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee related to Dang Dinh Quy and a resident in Hai Van ward having fraudulent behavior in submitting and preparing documents to request a certificate of land use rights, the City Police Investigation Agency quickly conducted an investigation and verification.

During the process of handling the information, Quy fled the area, so the police decided to search for and arrest Quy.

Initial investigation results determined that in May 2015, Dang Dinh Quy took advantage of his position as a surveyor at the Land Registration Office of Lien Chieu District (old) to collude with Mr. H., (residing in the old Lien Chieu District) to obtain information on land plot No. 134, sheet 29, area ^298m2, which was granted a land use right certificate to continue preparing a dossier to request the issuance of another land use right certificate.

You proceed to measure and draw a diagram of another plot of land to prepare a file to request a certificate for plot No. 82, map sheet No. 270, area ^252.4m2 in group 9, Hoa Hiep Nam ward (old Lien Chieu district) for Mr. H and his wife.

The actions of Dang Dinh Quy and related individuals caused damage to the state in the amount of more than 1.6 billion VND. The case is currently being further investigated and handled by the police.
