In order for the 2024 Health Insurance Law to soon come into effect, the Social Insurance of Region VI has previously organized synchronous propaganda activities to raise people's awareness of the benefits and rights of the health insurance policy, while helping people better understand the health insurance regime and policy, and the level of State support for participants according to each target group.

Ms. Ngo Thi Tuyet (Dong Son ward, Thanh Hoa province) shared: "My husband has diabetes and has been hospitalized for 3 days. Both he and I are farmers and participate in family health insurance. If he did not have the health insurance card, he would not be able to survive because he would not have money to pay for hospital fees...".

Mr. Do Van Dat (Tho Phu commune, Thanh Hoa province) said: “My family has 5 people, 3 of whom participate in family health insurance, and 2 children who work as garment workers participate in health insurance at the company. I have kidney disease, fortunately having a health insurance card saves a lot of money when going to the hospital for medical examination and treatment. My wife also has to go to the hospital regularly, if she didn't have health insurance, her health would not be stable until now. Thanks to the health insurance card, my family has an extra life buoy, more secure in life."

Quick information at the Propaganda Booth, the Propaganda and Support Department for Social Insurance Participants in Region VI has updated and informed patients and their relatives about new contents and new benefits that are expanded when people participate in voluntary social insurance and self-paid health insurance according to the Social Insurance Law 2024 and Health Insurance Law 2024.
