(BLC) - Living as an example, enthusiastic about work, close to and devoted to the prosperous life of the people - those are the comments of the leaders of Than Uyen district and the people of Muong Than commune for comrade Pham Van Bon - Secretary of the Party Committee of Muong Than commune, reporter at Than Uyen district level.

According to the organization's assignment, comrade Pham Van Bon was transferred to work as Secretary of the Muong Than Commune Party Committee in March 2020. Before that, he held the position of Vice Chairman of the Than Uyen District People's Council. It seems that Muong Than land is truly destined for him, a place for cadres and party members like him to fulfill his role better when returning to the People.

As the Party Secretary of the commune, he always actively trains the qualities and ethics of cadres and party members. Regularly studies the Party's directives and resolutions; closely follows the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and political goals and tasks from the province to the district and commune levels to develop plans and issue directives appropriate to the local situation. Monthly, works with the subordinate Party Committees to grasp the thoughts of the grassroots Party members to orient the propaganda content to carry out local political , economic and social tasks for the people.

As a district-level reporter, over the past 13 years, in addition to grasping and understanding the policies of the Party and the State, he has also actively participated in dialogue activities with the Secretaries and Chairmen of the District People's Committee to answer the suggestions and questions of the people. Thanks to his deep understanding of the Party's documents, policies and guidelines, he has explained almost all the concerns of the people in detail.

Sharing with us his life philosophy and working motto, Comrade Bon frankly said: For me, setting an example is the most effective form of propaganda, so as a cadre and party member, "say what you do", "theory and practice" must go hand in hand. Regardless of the position, the Party Secretary of the commune, reporter or party member, if they want to be "trusted, respected and loved by the people", they must first be truly dedicated to what they do. In order for "the people to listen, remember, understand and follow", they must have their own propaganda methods; know how to select concise, specific content that is directly related to people's lives to propagate. Above all, if they want to penetrate the masses, understanding the culture from the language, customs and practices is very important; from there, cadres will have the right way of behaving, pleasing the people.

Perhaps from the perspective of life and work, after work hours, even on weekends, Mr. Bon spends a lot of time going down to the village with the people. He talks with them, listens to their thoughts; guides each household to do economic activities to escape poverty. From the trips to visit and learn about economic development models in localities outside the province, Mr. Bon comes back to propagate and mobilize the people to implement together, introduce new plant varieties for planting, apply science and technology in production and link with enterprises and cooperatives to consume products. For the new economic model to be successful, he takes households to visit and learn from the experiences in districts inside and outside the province; does not hesitate to work with the people to prepare the land and plant seeds.

Therefore, it is not difficult for us reporters and the people to see the image of the Four-legged cadre with muddy hands, sweaty clothes, wading through the fields with the people to harvest agricultural products; taking care of the plants... Because for him, "whatever is beneficial to the people, he will do" with all his strength.

Muong Than is one of the four famous places in the Northwest "First Thanh, second Lo, third Than, fourth Tac" with vast fields "as far as the eye can see". Taking advantage of this advantage, comrade Bon and the leaders of the Party Committee and the communal government actively propagated and mobilized the people to produce delicious rice varieties, local specialties such as Seng Cu, J02; rotated and intercropped crops to grow vegetables as commodities to supply companies and businesses. Thereby, not only maintaining the "golden" brand in the Northwest region but also helping the people here increase their income.

In addition, Mr. Bon and the cadres and party members in the commune promoted propaganda for the people of the villages to join hands to build a new lifestyle, free of social evils; actively build advanced, civilized and modern new rural villages. He himself did not hesitate to stay up all night to research and build welcome gates for the villages; find good sentences and poems suitable for the cultural characteristics of the village; go to each Mong ethnic household in the area to propagate the building of a new cultural lifestyle in the Mong ethnic minority area...

Thanks to the "close to the people, close to the grassroots" work of comrade Bon and the cadres and party members of Muong Than commune in the past time, the people in the area have more faith in the leadership of the Party and authorities at all levels; together unite to overcome difficulties, get rich, and build a rich and beautiful homeland of Muong Than. Up to now, the commune's economy has increasingly improved with an average income of 46 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 8.35%. 3/12 villages have cultural village welcome gates and flower roads, 4 villages have made house number plates, 6 villages have made flagpoles; 12/12 villages have effectively implemented and maintained the models of "Lighting up the countryside roads" and "security cameras"; all of these works are 100% voluntarily contributed by the people. Currently, the whole commune maintains 67 "skillful mass mobilization" models in the economic and social fields...

... together with the leaders of the district's committees and unions, went to Mong ethnic households (Hua Than village) to mobilize them to re-establish the altar according to traditional customs.

Ms. Dam Thi Ngu - Xuan Phuong village excitedly told us: Secretary Bon is very active, always close to the people. We all want to meet Comrade Bon for any difficult problems in the village, because he solves them very harmoniously. Comrade Bon is the first Party Secretary of the commune to organize direct dialogues and answer questions from the people, so we are very happy.
