Enhancing cooperation opportunities between Vietnam and other countries

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang had working sessions with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akcapar; Chairman of the Turkish Foreign Economic Affairs Committee (DEIK) Nail Olpak, Vice Chairman of the Turkey-Vietnam Business Council Reha Denemec and Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Istanbul Ali Telzolmez.

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akcapar affirmed that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh 's official visit to Turkey in November 2023 is a breakthrough step, creating new momentum for bilateral relations. The two sides discussed specific measures to promote the results of the visit, especially the exchange of high-level delegations, measures towards the target of bilateral trade turnover reaching 4-5 billion USD and the possibility of signing cooperation agreements in a number of specialized fields.

Enterprises said they are increasingly interested in Vietnam, wishing to explore cooperation and investment opportunities in the fields of construction, infrastructure, tourism, renewable energy, advanced materials and agriculture. The Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Istanbul said he is ready to promote connections between localities of the two countries, support the organization of cultural exchange activities and promote investment in Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang highly appreciated the importance of promoting bilateral relations and implementing the results achieved during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit. Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang emphasized that the two countries have large populations, are two dynamically developing economies, and are each other's large markets, so it is necessary to more actively implement cooperation measures to promote bilateral relations in all fields, making practical contributions to the development of each side.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang suggested that countries strengthen cooperation and exchange of delegations at all levels; continue to closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral forums and organizations; promote cooperation in priority areas and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises and goods to access local markets.

The foreign ministry leaders of the countries affirmed that they attach importance to relations with Vietnam, highly appreciated Vietnam's proposal and agreed to implement many practical and effective measures to promote bilateral cooperation in the coming time./.
