Through providing knowledge about social media, the organizers will guide students in identifying, being vigilant against, responding to, and defending themselves against the risks of harm and manipulation in cyberspace. Using real-life situations and stories, the organizers will help students choose social media use selectively, ensuring safety and effectiveness; and calmly and wisely verify harmful and unfounded information that negatively impacts their thoughts and behavior.
This activity is part of the City Social Work Center's 2025 Plan for Individual and Group School Psychological Support and Counseling, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the social work model in schools. The target groups for counseling include students and parents, teachers, and staff at educational institutions. Through various forms such as situational discussions, psychological games, quizzes, and discussions, the counseling content is specific and practical, equipping participants with knowledge and skills to address difficulties or social issues of concern such as: positive emotional control, reducing school stress; preventing and responding to personal psychological crises; resolving conflicts, building healthy friendships, etc. The Center assigns psychological counselors to provide individual counseling on issues such as: psychological crises, academic stress, exam pressure; friendship and love psychology in school age; In situations involving the risk of school violence, bullying, and abuse, the City Social Work Center guides students, teachers, and parents to access the free counseling hotline 18008065 for timely support in emergency situations.
