Strengthening school psychological support consultation

(CT) - Can Tho City Social Work Center has just coordinated with the Board of Directors of Phu Thu Youth Club, Hung Phu Ward to organize a consultation session to support school psychology with the topic "Safe and responsible behavior skills on social networks".

Through providing knowledge about social networks; the causes as well as ways to identify, be alert, respond and protect themselves from the risk of being abused and lured in cyberspace. Through real situations and stories, the organizers help children orient their use of social networks selectively, ensuring safety and effectiveness; calmly and clearly verify harmful, baseless information that negatively affects their own thoughts and behaviors...

This activity is part of the 2025 School Psychological Support Consultation Plan of the City Social Work Center, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the social work model in schools. The subjects consulted are students and parents, teachers and staff at educational institutions. With the forms of situational exchanges, psychological games, tests and discussions, specific and practical consultation content, the subjects are equipped with knowledge and skills to solve difficulties or social issues of concern such as: positive emotional control, reducing school stress; preventing and responding to personal psychological crises; resolving conflicts, building healthy friendships... The center arranges psychological consultants for each individual case on issues such as: psychological crisis, academic stress, exam pressure; psychology of friendship, student love; situations at risk of school violence, bullying, abuse... The City Social Work Center guides students, teachers and parents to access the free consultation hotline 18008065 for timely support in emergency situations...
