Tanh Linh district has 237 households that meet the legal conditions for residential land to support the construction of new houses and repair of houses according to regulations (108 newly built households, 129 repaired households). Up to now, the whole district has started construction for 56 households (22 newly built households, 34 repaired households). Currently, for the remaining 11 households with meritorious services to the revolution, the district has started pouring materials and building foundations, striving to complete before April 30. For 202 households that are poor and near-poor households, up to now, 15 households have started pouring materials and building foundations. Of the 5 households that are in other difficult situations, 1 household has started construction. Currently, the whole district has 137 households with land legal problems.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Le - Standing Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of Tanh Linh District requested that localities in the whole district must be determined to deploy and carry out the peak period with specific results, creating a spreading effect in society. Specifically, the implementation period of the peak period "50 days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district" is from March 30, 2025 to May 19, 2025.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee requested that after this launching ceremony, communes and towns simultaneously carry out projects to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality from now until April 6, 2025, and must start construction and complete the construction and repair by May 19, 2025. Accordingly, communes and towns assign members of the Commune Steering Committee to be in charge of villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods to monitor, urge, and supervise the construction and repair progress of each household. Direct the Commune People's Committee to establish a progress inspection team, and at the same time send cadres to coordinate with supported households to speed up the progress of starting construction and completing the construction and repair of new houses for households with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, near-poor households, and other disadvantaged households in the area. Along with that, leaders and authorities should closely coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the District Land Registration Office to remove legal problems related to residential land and carry out administrative records on residential land for beneficiaries of policies...

On this occasion, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Tanh Linh District also launched a competition to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district within 50 days. Accordingly, Tanh Linh District is determined to complete the construction and repair of houses for households with revolutionary contributions before April 30, 2025 and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, and other disadvantaged households that meet legal conditions before May 30, 2025. The peak period of "50 days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district" is a meaningful and practical activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
