According to Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Quyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, digital transformation is not only a technological revolution, but also a profound change in thinking, working methods and serving people. People, specifically members of the community digital technology team, will be the most important factor for digital transformation to truly come to life.

At the training session, Mr. Truong Thai Son - Head of Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Department (Department of Science and Technology) introduced an overview of major policies and guidelines on national digital transformation and orientations of Quang Nam province in the period of 2024 - 2025. At the same time, he emphasized the role of the digital technology team as a bridge between the government and people in implementing digital transformation contents at the commune and village levels.

In addition to theory, the training program focuses on guiding students to get acquainted with and practice with artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Grok... Students have access to outstanding AI features such as information search, content writing, planning, and support for daily study and work.

In particular, the group practice section helps students apply AI to practical situations such as: guiding people to use online public services, cashless payments via QR codes, accessing public service portals, or handling some common situations when interacting with people.

Thang Binh currently has 106 community digital technology teams with more than 600 active members at the grassroots level. In 2024, community digital technology teams will support more than 80,000 people to access digital services, including nearly 10,000 administrative procedure files that will be supported to be submitted online.
