Make a breakthrough in party member development work

Identifying the development of Party members as an important task in Party building, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has strengthened leadership and directed Party committees and organizations at all levels to implement many solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of this work. Thereby, contributing to building a contingent of Party members in the province that is increasingly growing in quantity and strong in quality.

Closely following the objectives of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress; the directives and projects of the Provincial Party Committee on the work of developing party members, Party committees and organizations at all levels in the province have proactively developed plans, actively directed and implemented solutions to improve the effectiveness and quality of party member development work.

Regularly promote propaganda, education and training, create sources of Party membership for union members, youth, students; cadres and members of socio-political organizations; leaders, managers, workers in economic sectors...

The Provincial Party Committee has strengthened its direction to the District Party Committees, City Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees to specify the annual targets and plans for admitting Party members in accordance with the characteristics and situation of each agency, unit, and locality. At the same time, thoroughly grasp the motto that admitting Party members must attach importance to quality, ensuring conditions and standards; admitting Party members must be associated with strengthening the Party organization and purifying the Party membership.

Thanks to the good work of Party development, the number of new Party members admitted every year in the province always meets the target, in which the proportion of female Party members, Party members who are ethnic minorities, Party members who are young people, students, leaders, managers, workers in economic sectors is increasing; the level of education and professional expertise is gradually improved...

Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the whole province has admitted 8,474 party members, an average of over 2,100 party members per year, exceeding the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.

Newly admitted party members all meet the prescribed standards and conditions; always uphold the sense of responsibility and make many contributions to the implementation of political tasks of agencies, units and localities.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Phan Thanh Nam said: To continue to improve the effectiveness of Party member development work, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board has strengthened leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations at all levels to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions, directives and regulations of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board on Party development work.

The Standing Committees of District Party Committees, City Party Committees, and affiliated Party Committees shall strengthen the direction of Party committees, authorities, agencies, and units to proactively review and grasp the actual number of young union members living and participating in regular activities in the locality; synthesize and make a list of the number of young union members working at enterprises located in the locality and neighboring areas who are eligible to join the Party.

Review the mass objects that are demobilized soldiers; students who have graduated from universities, colleges, and vocational high schools and returned to work and produce locally. From there, proactively understand their thoughts and aspirations, and at the same time, have a plan to train and create conditions for the masses to strive to stand in the ranks of the Party...

Party committees at all levels regularly innovate leadership methods for the development of party members who are students; leaders, managers, and workers in non-state enterprises, especially enterprises with foreign investment capital.

Enterprises that have established Party organizations have enhanced the Party's leadership role over socio-political organizations, created a bridge between employees and business leaders, made practical and effective contributions to the development of enterprises, and ensured a harmonious relationship between Party cells and business leaders for the purpose of developing production and business, and improving the material and spiritual life of employees.

For enterprises without a Party organization or Party members, Party committees at all levels need to strengthen the direction of grassroots Party committees where the enterprises are headquartered to assign experienced Party members to closely follow and coordinate with the leadership and organizations in the enterprises to promote emulation movements to promptly discover and nurture outstanding masses, creating a source of Party members.

Party committees and organizations at all levels should strengthen the direction of socio-political organizations in the political system from the provincial to grassroots levels to promote their roles and responsibilities in creating sources and nurturing outstanding masses to introduce to the Party, ensuring quality and quantity.
