Training on social protection, children and social evils prevention for 171 delegates - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

From July 28 to 30, the Department of Health organized a training course on social protection, children and social evil prevention and control in 2025 for 171 delegates representing general advisory and professional organizations; leaders and civil servants of the Department of Social Protection, Children and Social Evil Prevention and Control under the Department of Health; leaders of the People's Committee, Department of Culture - Society; specialists in charge of social protection, children and social evil prevention and control in 56 communes and wards in the province.

At the conference, delegates were trained on the following contents: Ordinance on Prostitution Prevention and Control 2003; Decree No. 178/2004/ND-CP dated October 15, 2024 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Ordinance on Prostitution Prevention and Control; Circular No. 05/2006/TT-BLDTBXH dated June 22, 2006 of the Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs guiding the establishment and organization of the activities of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team on Prostitution Prevention and Control; Decision No. 155/2007/QD-TTg dated September 25, 2007 of the Prime Minister on promulgating regulations on inter-sectoral coordination in prostitution prevention and control; Law on Prevention and Control of Human Trafficking November 28, 2024; Decree No. 162/2025/ND-CP dated June 29, 2025 of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking. Current status of child work in Vietnam and in the province.

Deploying a number of documents of the Central and the province on the Law on Children 2016; Decree No. 56/2017/ND-CP of the Government : Detailing a number of articles of the Law on Children. Decision 712/KH-UBND dated April 29, 2021 Promulgating the action program for children for the period 2021-2030 in the province. The role and responsibility of the People's Committee at the commune level in implementing children's work in the coming time. Deploying a number of contents on children's rights and child protection services; the process of supporting intervention for abused children, children at risk of violence, exploitation, abandonment, neglect and children in other special circumstances.

Guidelines for implementing documents in the field of social protection and social assistance. Discuss situations and solutions to handle some social assistance cases such as: difficulties in implementation procedures and dossiers of localities; guidance on how to access and use the online social assistance policy registration and settlement system; how to access and use the information system and database of social protection beneficiaries.
