Training on technical process of growing Sâm cau using high technology in Cao Bang province

On the morning of September 11, at the Le Chung High-Tech Agricultural Production Zone (CNC), the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances (KH&CN) under the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with the CNC Agricultural Enterprise Incubation Center under the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City CNC Agricultural Zone to organize a training course on the technical process of growing Sâm cau using CNC in Cao Bang province. Attending the training course were comrade Luong Thanh Tuan, Director of the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances (Center), leaders of specialized departments and officials and employees of the Center.

Students practice soil preparation techniques and growing media.

Trainees were taught by comrade Le Thi Hong Ngoc, lecturer of the CNC Agricultural Enterprise Incubation Center the following contents: Overview of the Sâm cau tree; Overview of the process of planting and caring for the Sâm cau tree in the nursery stage; Overview of the process of planting and caring for the Sâm cau tree in the production garden stage; Introduction of some methods of processing commercial products from Sâm cau.

At the training class, trainees were directly guided in practice: Technical process of plant cell culture in the tissue culture room; Preparing soil and growing medium; Practicing planting and caring for Sâm cau trees in the nursery stage; Practicing and caring for Sâm cau trees in the production garden stage.

Through the training course, students will gain basic knowledge about the techniques of planting and caring for the Sâm cau tree. Exchange experiences in the fields of research, training, application of science and technology, commercialization of research results, innovative startups as well as support for socio -economic development between Ho Chi Minh City and Cao Bang province, in order to meet the needs, orientations and goals of developing high-tech agriculture in the locality./.
