Training on receiving, processing records and administrative procedures when merging provinces

(GLO)- On the afternoon of June 23, the Office of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Office of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee to organize a training session to guide the implementation of the work of receiving, processing and returning results of handling records for 3 administrative procedures within the scope of the trial.

Attending the training at the main bridge point of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee headquarters were representatives of leaders, civil servants, and public employees of departments/centers under the Office of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; civil servants expected to be assigned to work at the People's Committees of some (new) communes and wards of Gia Lai province. At the same time, the conference was connected online to 100% of communes and wards in Gia Lai province.

On June 20, 2025, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province successfully and smoothly tested the 2-level local government model in 58/58 commune-level units (new) of Binh Dinh province. On that basis, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province drafted a "Scenario for piloting the 2-level local government model of Gia Lai province in the work of: processing, sending/receiving interconnected electronic documents and resolving administrative procedure records according to the 2-level local government model of Gia Lai province (new) on June 25, 2025.

The trial operation contents include: Procedures for "Issuing copies of household registration extracts"; procedures for "Plot division or consolidation" and procedures for "Registering changes in land use rights". Thereby, ensuring that from July 1, 2025, the reception, processing of records, approval of documents, and return of results of administrative procedure settlement according to the commune-level model received from the National Public Service Portal - the "one-stop shop" model will take place smoothly.

At the training conference, staff of the Binh Dinh Provincial Public Administration Service Center; the Administrative Procedure Control Department, the Office of the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and the technical team of VNPT Gia Lai and VNPT Binh Dinh instructed civil servants expected to be assigned to work at the People's Committees of some (new) communes and wards of Gia Lai province on the process of implementing 3 administrative procedures within the scope of the trial; as well as the processing, issuance and sending and receiving of interconnected documents between agencies, units and localities on the Electronic Office System to serve the work of handling the above administrative procedures. The results of the trial operation are to evaluate, draw experience, and prepare for the official operation of the new Gia Lai province from July 1, 2025.
