Organize multiple construction teams

According to the Provincial Road Maintenance Management Board (PPMB), the project to repair damaged roadbeds, road surfaces, and traffic safety systems from sections Km7+300-Km8+450, Km18+700-Km19+150, Km20+500-Km20+800, Km26+700-Km27+300, Km47+850-Km48+00; handle local water stagnation at Km7+350 (T), Km10+760 (T) and repair drainage culvert Km23+185, National Highway 25, the section passing through the province (National Highway 25 Repair Project) was started in April 2025. The project aims to ensure increased traffic safety; increase drainage capacity and exploit the route. Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the construction unit, Phu Yen Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, organized many construction teams to speed up the project's progress.

At Km7+150-Km8+450, National Highway 25, through Phu Hoa District, Phu Yen Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company is mobilizing 5 road rollers, 10 trucks and 15 officers and workers to pave the roadbed with asphalt concrete. This location is identified as the most complicated construction site on the route, because this road section is quite narrow, densely populated, and has a very heavy and complicated traffic flow.

National Highway 25 has a very frequent and heavy traffic volume. The Provincial Road Traffic Management Board requires the construction unit to organize and arrange the construction time reasonably; mobilize maximum means and human resources to focus on speeding up the construction progress. The construction process must meet the progress, quality and ensure traffic safety on the route.

Mr. Pham Tho Truyen, Deputy Director of the Provincial Traffic Safety Management Board

Also on this route, Phu Yen Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company is implementing an additional cement concrete construction project at Km20+500-Km20+800 and a roadbed construction project at Km47+850-Km48+00. The contractor is implementing all construction projects quickly and decisively to ensure the progress and quality of the project.

Mr. Do Hoang Tien, Deputy Director of Phu Yen Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, said: On National Highway 25, there are many damaged and degraded locations that are quite complicated. Therefore, depending on the characteristics of each damaged location, the unit will deploy appropriate construction solutions. Currently, taking advantage of the sunny weather, we are deploying 3 construction sites at the same time; each construction site is fully equipped with equipment and human resources to speed up progress, determined to complete the project before this year's rainy and stormy season.

Ensure safe construction

According to the Provincial Road Traffic Management Board, the National Highway 25 Repair Project has a total investment of 14.9 billion VND; implemented in the two districts of Phu Hoa and Son Hoa. The unit requires construction units to make efforts to shorten the construction time; at the same time, deploy necessary solutions to ensure traffic safety during the project implementation.

According to Phu Yen Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, it is currently the agricultural harvest season, so the daily traffic volume on National Highway 25 is very large, causing many disadvantages for the unit when constructing and operating at the same time. In particular, for some narrow roads located in densely populated residential areas, the construction unit must organize forces to warn and regulate vehicles to rotate in one direction to avoid congestion and traffic jams.

Mr. Do Hoang Tien said: To ensure construction safety, the contractor has divided the construction sites into many short sections; each section is about 300m long. Here, all construction sites have mobilized machinery, equipment and human resources to deploy quickly; not to let the construction drag on. The unit also proactively arranged construction during off-peak hours; increased the deployment of traffic control and warning forces at both ends of the project to ensure traffic safety throughout the construction process.

Mr. Pham Tho Truyen, Deputy Director of the Provincial Road Traffic Management Board, said: National Highway 25 has a very heavy traffic volume. Therefore, the unit requires the construction unit to organize and arrange the construction time reasonably to limit the impact on people's travel. We also require the contractor to mobilize vehicles and human resources to focus on speeding up the construction progress; complete the work as it is done. The project must ensure progress, quality and safety throughout the construction process.
