The 208-page collection of 16 short stories printed in 13.5 x 20.5 size by Vietnam Women's Publishing House in 2025, contains a multi-dimensional reality in the old Ninh Thuan land.

Like his previous works, in this collection of stories, writer Kim Hoa has depicted the fate and inner depth of the characters in each short story mixed with familiar landscapes of Phan Rang: sand dunes, cacti, vineyards, flocks of sheep, rivers, Cham towers... The first story "On the Grass" is a touching story taking place on a sheep-herding field. The central character "I" revolves around the relationship with the characters: Mother is a generous person, loves her husband and children; father when meeting mother is a soldier who has lost his memory due to the consequences of bombs, malaria in the jungle in the K battlefield, is very afraid of thunder, storms and three sisters of the character "I" - "I" is the second sister in the house. Yet after reading the story, we are moved... It turns out that when father just recovered his memory, the sisters just learned: Before joining the army, before meeting mother, before the three sisters were born, father had a wife and children in the North. The story is led when the younger brother connects, finds out all the way to Hanoi , meets his father's "grandson", knows that for many years the family has set up an altar for the martyr who is his father. Returning to Phan Rang, the younger brother tells his older sister: "Let's give dad back to them, Hai"...
