Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Hung Thai, Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Nguyen Manh Hung and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
The year 2024 has been identified by the two provinces of Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc as a year of acceleration and breakthrough, of special significance in implementing the 5-year socio -economic development plan 2021-2025. Both localities have made efforts to overcome difficulties, achieving many important socio -economic achievements with high GRDP growth rates, many economic targets achieved and exceeded the plan.
Coordination between the two provinces continues to be maintained in a proactive spirit, promoting comprehensive development cooperation in many sectors and fields, especially transportation, tourism, investment - trade promotion, industry, agriculture, ecological environment management, national defense - security.
Typically, in 2024, Binh Phuoc province organized a business delegation to participate in the "Regional specialties and typical products fair of provinces and cities in the Southeast region - Tay Ninh in 2024" organized by the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province; 12 units including enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments participated in this Fair. The participating products of Binh Phuoc province are quite rich in types and diverse in product designs, such as: coffee, pepper, cashew, fresh and dried fruits, handicraft products, etc.
In the work of provincial planning, both localities have coordinated, exchanged and informed each other about the situation of development orientations with regional connectivity and in accordance with approved national plans; the orientation of the Politburo in Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Southeast region to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Up to now, many key projects, especially regional transport projects, have been invested in, contributing to the development of the two provinces.
At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thanh Tam highly appreciated the close and effective coordination between Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh provinces in recent years. On the occasion of the delegation's visit and work in the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tam sent New Year greetings to the delegation members, wishing Binh Phuoc province many successes in 2025.
Continuing to promote the achieved results, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tam hopes that the two provinces of Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc will continue to coordinate effectively, strive to overcome difficulties, develop together in the new period, contributing to the common development of the Southeast region.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh said that Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc provinces are both border provinces adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia and have many similarities in natural conditions and socio-economic development conditions.
To coordinate more effectively in the coming time, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh said that the two provinces need to increase exchanges, discussions and sharing in Party building and socio-economic development.
During this working visit to Tay Ninh province, the delegation from Binh Phuoc observed and learned from Tay Ninh's experience in socio-economic development, management and tourism development at Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area so that the province can research and develop tourism at Ba Ra Mountain, Phuoc Long Town, Binh Phuoc Province in the coming time.
The Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, the solidarity and coordination between the two provinces, between the departments, branches and sectors of the two provinces will become increasingly closer, to make joint efforts to overcome difficulties, share experiences, and promote regional connectivity projects under the direction of the Central Government. Thereby, contributing to opening up new development opportunities for both provinces and the Southeast region.
Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh thanked the leaders of Tay Ninh province for their warm welcome and thoughtful reception of the delegation; wished Tay Ninh much success and victory in the new year and new period.
